Partnership Learning

  • Partnership Learning started life as Multi-Academy Trust in 2015 and now oversees 13 schools, with a further four due to open over the next three years. The Trust: • seeks to achieve its vision through establishing new schools, transforming under-performing schools and working with existing good schools; • values the individual character of its schools and their leaders, whilst encouraging and facilitating the development and deployment of effective common strategies to ensure that all its pupils thrive within well-structured, safe and aspirational environments; • takes responsibility for driving improvement and challenging under-performance, whilst supporting schools and their leaders through collaboration and effective use of combined financial and human resources; • has particular expertise in providing excellent outcomes within disadvantaged communities, using strategies that work across the socio-economic spectrum.

Roger Leighton

Roger Leighton (Chief Executive)
At Partnership Learning, our ethos aims to maximise social mobility, giving our pupils the same opportunities as their most favoured peers – outstanding teaching, schools organised around the ability profile of their pupils and wide-ranging enrichment activities to develop confidence and resilience. We believe learning is most effective when students are taught with others of similar ability, so we group pupils by prior attainment in three discrete pathways.
